About KodingKorp

We work as if we are your in-house product engineering team.

KodingKorp is a product engineering partner for SaaS companies. We embed with your team and work like your in-house engineers — owning features end to end, from spec to production.

Why we work this way

Most software gets outsourced badly

Not because the engineers are bad, but because of the shape of the arrangement.

The usual setup puts a delivery layer between you and the people writing the code. Requirements get relayed. Context gets lost on the way down and progress gets summarised on the way back up. By the time something is wrong, it has been wrong for two sprints.

We took the layer out. You brief the engineer directly, that engineer sits in your planning and your pull requests, and when something is off you hear it the same day. It is a smaller way to operate, and it is deliberate — it is the only way the work stays this close to the people paying for it.

We specialise in SaaS because the hard parts repeat. Multi-tenancy, billing and metering, permissions, integrations, the migration nobody wants to own. Having built them before is worth more than being able to build them in principle.

How we operate

What you can hold us to

We tell you when not to build it

If a feature doesn't need the engineering it's being given, we say so before the estimate, not after the invoice.

Small on purpose

We take on a small number of engagements at a time. That is what makes senior attention on your work possible rather than aspirational.

We hand over clean

Documented, reviewed, and runnable by your team without us. An engagement that ends should not leave a hole.

We say what we cannot do

If something sits outside what we're genuinely good at, we'll tell you and, where we can, point you at someone better placed.

Who you'll work with

Shivam Mathur

Shivam Mathur

Founder & Principal Engineer

Nine years building production software, six of them independent. Started at Zoho on Zoho Campaigns — a product serving around 2.5 million customers — then HippoVideo, then went out on his own.

That mix is why KodingKorp works the way it does: enough time inside product teams to know what in-house actually feels like, and enough time running engagements to know where vendors usually lose the plot.

He founded KodingKorp in 2023 for a client who needed a team — and who was tired of consultants working to the letter of the contract instead of the vision behind it. Building to the vision rather than the ticket is still how we work, and he stays on the engagements directly: in your planning, in your pull requests, and on the other end of the escalation.
